Course Description: OPEN Help Lab for WDIM students to meet with an instructor to get assistance refining web-related skills. No registration required, no fees required, and open to all students. Maximum of 23 students in the lab at one time. This Lab runs through week 10.

Course Description: Web site design using Cascading Style Sheets and strategies for effective web design.

- Describe the basic philosophy behind the use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Apply CSS to XHTML elements of a web page
- Demonstrate how CSS formating can be applied to create sophisticated layouts
- Use a standards-based approach to allow for high-cross browser compatibility
- Demonstrate the process from digital mock-up to styled CSS web page
- Discuss the balance of aethetics and usability on the web
