If you are within your first 4 quarters at AiPD, you will need to contact your Academic Advisor (John Kenny) to set up an appointment. If you have a "complex" audit or are in your 5th quarter or beyond, contact Bill.
Is snow falling? Are we having an ice storm? Is power out? Is everyone talking about school closures? Find out if AiPD is closed or on a delayed schedule.
Well, what I'm really asking is, what do you want to see on this site? What information would you like available to make this site better for you? Please give me your ideas!
If you haven't done so, get to know OLS! This is where you check your school e-mail, see your grades, get your schedule, view your audit, register for classes, and much more!
It is with great pleasure that I step into my new role as Academic Department Director for Web Design and Interactive Media. I am especially pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Chapman as Assistant Department Director.
I am convinced that the Web Design and Interactive Media program is one of the strongest programs here at the Art Institute of Portland, due in large part to its dedicated faculty, but mostly because of the great set of students enrolled in the program. At this time I want to assure you of my complete commitment to the success and well-being of both faculty and students. It is a big responsibility – I do not take it lightly.
I find myself surrounded and supported by experienced, talented and decent people. It would be difficult to imagine a better situation, or to undertake a more worthwhile cause.
My office phone number is 503-382-4826. My email is: wsiebold@aii.edu. My office is Room 316B – in the Education Department office suite. You are invited (encouraged) to visit with me personally. Bring your concerns, questions and comments. Let me know how you are doing in school and what your academic issues are. Together, we will chart a course for your success in college, and create an action plan for graduation and beyond – the career of your life.
If you have progressed through the curriculum and are approaching graduation, have no fear! The plan you have in place is the plan that we will follow.
I look forward to getting to know all of you, faculty & students, better. Toward that end, you will see me haunting the various WDIM and CS classes over the next several months. If you see me in the hall, be sure to introduce yourself to me. And … be sure to find me in my office (call or email if you need to schedule a definite day and time).
Best regards,
Bill
